The Northern Section being completed by ASL is in Hong Kong’s deepest, longest and largest sub-sea road tunnel. This undersea tunnel will connect Tuen Mun and the “Boundary Crossing Facilities” (BCF), an artificial peninsula connected to Chek Lap Kok.
The undersea tunnel portion is five kilometres in length and carries a two-lane dual carriageway and once complete in 2020, ASL will have laid around 90,000 tonnes of asphalt.
